Mordanburgh Gets Ruined Once Again By 4Ground

The chaps at 4Ground have shown us some more of their upcoming kits for the Fantasy city of Mordanburgh. Their latest set for the 28mm range is more of their Damaged Houses which you can see below. They won't be available until next Friday for pre-order but we've got the scoop!
As you can see these houses have been given quite the beating and it looks like they've been hit by a bit of fire damage, a few cannon balls and maybe a giant or two has wandered through as well.
I love what 4Ground have done with this range and it's great to see more of the damaged buildings making it into the collection because it gives a distinctly more warlike feel to their battlefield. You could even look at using these to supplement the more built up pieces when something bad happens on the tabletop.
You could probably get away with using the flat back boards that these come on to make rubble too. After all a house that has taken this much damage would be filled with planks of wood and plaster.

Yeah they are a great company, I’ve been over the factory watching the guys hard at it last week. They are a great team who work well together and they love to listen to wargamers ideas.
nice, very open plan & airy look? a bit too clean around the damage but is easily added to the buyers preference.
I’d like Tabletop World and 4ground to get together to make terrain pieces. I think that combination would churn out some great stuff. Yep, i did post this in a Tabletop World update too. Covering both bases.
Each of them are awesome at what they do, but the products are so far from each other, would you have one do I the internals and the other the exterior? Or MDF panels in the resin ?
For example, if you take a look at both companies fantasy townhouses it is clear that 4ground’s are restricted in the materials they can represent, whereas Tabletop’s don’t have moving parts. I would say that a townhouse combining Tabletop’s stone ( basement / ground level floors and walls ) with 4ground’s wood and plaster ( doors, upper level floors and walls ) would be a good mix.
Might be time to dust off the Mordheim! They are fantastic…
