Some new houses are on the cards for the World At War range by 4Ground taking you away from France and into Poland with these new house designs.

Heading out beyond the street fighting of the cities you'll instead be plunged into battles that will take place on farmland long since abandoned and through wooded areas where an ambush could strike at any moment.

There are going to be two different designs on offer giving you a Rural Cottage and a Rural House to choose from. Each uses some of the amazing techniques 4Ground employ to get their buildings looking like they're part of the world, from cracked plaster to the faux roofs.

While somewhat dilapidated the houses are going to feature fully detailed interiors with working doors and even an oven (which doesn't work, before you ask) for your soldiers to cook a meal on if they were holed up here.

The plaster damage that you see here is also customisable so you can change it around depending on how beat up you want the buildings to look.

Interestingly, 4Ground also mentioned that while these houses would be great for World War II fighting there is no reason that this design of building wouldn't have been seen back in the Napoleonic era. So, you can make these buildings fit into all manner of interesting battles.

What do you think of these new designs?
