Modiphius have got themselves a screenwriter and director for their Achtung! Cthulhu movie! It's quite far off of course but it's all slowly becoming a reality and we can't wait to see where it goes!

Achtung! Cthulhu The Movie

From the release...

"In my mind, Achtung! Cthulhu has never been just a game," comments Modiphius Entertainment founder Chris Birch, the gaming entrepreneur behind the Achtung! Cthulhu universe. "The writings of H.P. Lovecraft have inspired a massive backstory, set against the backdrop of World War Two. This isn't just another 'weird war' tale but a deep-rooted, millennia-old conflict, in which mankind is but a mere pawn. It lends itself extremely well to different media, so I know that both H.P. Lovecraft and Achtung! Cthulhu fans are going to be excited to see what we have planned."

The team have got both script writer Dirk Vandereyken and director Raine McCormack together who love the Cthulhu world and are looking to make this an exciting adventure into the world of the weird crafted by H.P. Lovecraft. The film will be funded by traditional means and they are already starting to look at casting. There will however be a Kickstarter in Spring of next year to push some more funds into the project and help fund modules and rules to go alongside the films release.

This all sounds very cool indeed!
