With ASoI&F it’s not so much that miniature games are a niche, but that rank & file mass battle games really are a niche. I personally wouldn’t have gone down that route with the IP and would have done a skirmish game instead (much like X-Wing for low model-count land battles and without the pre-paint). […]

Hat’s off to the shieldmaiden sculpts. That’s impressive! Love the old eldar stuff too. Haven’t seen some of those type models in a looooong time.

Warlord Games has been delving into the jungle with their latest set of releases which bring the Australian Army to the fore in Bolt Action . You can see how the whole army comes together in this collection which has been added onto their webstore HERE. It comes with a range of Infantry units as well as a few […]

Oh and I should clarify, my problem in my first post was hearing CMON fanboys tell everyone that miniature games were a niche of a niche (of a niche), and that it was absurd for anyone to expect the game to be able to do better than 5,000 backers and that CMON never made any […]

I remain convinced there is a marketing answer to selling a miniatures game on Kickstarter! I just wish we got to see somebody do the equivalent of a “dream Kickstarter” in the form of a miniatures game. Something with the same art level, design level, and most especially value level as these huge board games. […]

Are there any independent distributors in Australia this could be done via? If not a community member post volunteer, to receive and re-distribute would be good if people are willing. I think the list of companies should be a comprehensive list from those people participating in the countries who find it hardest to receive minis […]

Heading out onto the slopes of the mountains to do some scouting we have the Dwarf Gebirgsjäger from Hysterical Games for the world of Panzerfauste. These fellows have been sculpted up by Darko and show off some of the more adventurous Dwarves in the world of Panzerfauste that set the path for your advancing armies. As you can […]

going with the rack o pipes method, if the amount of room taken up with the actual rack protruding four foot into the work area was a major concern, then maybe angling the pipes upwards could conserve a little floor space. If you decided to go for the cap option on the pipe end to […]
