New Afterlife Starter Sets Available For The Unity & Republic

Anvil Industry have now put together two Starter Sets for you to use in the game of AFTERLIFE. Both the Unity and the Republic have got themselves sets packed with core troops and then some more specialised soldiers for the punishing crunch…

Unity Council

First up we have the Unity Council which features some of their regular troopers, the Ajax Battlesuits and then some Spectre Operatives for going behind enemy lines…

Unity Council Starter Set

The full set contains…

  • 14 highly detailed resin miniatures (3 Ajax Exo-Mech, 6 Unity Guard, Bastion Grenade Launcher, 4 Spectre Operatives)
  • 10x Unity Council Activation Markers (3D Unity Council Logo, made with coloured resin)
  • 30x double sided card tokens for use in the game (Hidden/Suppressed, Smoke/Electronic Warfare, Objectives)
  • 6x D10 dice (4 white, 1 red, 1 black)
  • Premium eggshell foam box, which is used for shipping the product, and can then be reused as an excellent storage/transportation case, with enough room for all the figures once assembled.

Republic

We then have the Republic which I probably consider to be the better looking of the two factions although those Ajax Mechs from the Unity Council certainly tip the scales. Let’s see what you get in this one…

Republic Starter Set

Inside here you get…

  • 14 highly detailed resin miniatures (4 Pulse-Mech’s, 6 Commandos, Taurus Tractor with Minigun, 5 Commando Assault Specialists with breaching equipment)
  • 10x Republic Activation Markers (3D Unity Council Logo, made with coloured resin)

Ah it’s hard to choose between the two sets! I like that you actually get some foam with the set that you can re-use to protect your miniatures once you have built them. More games need to do this; turning their packaging into the useful boxes you can then transport models in.

Which side will you go for?
