The first thing they showed off was the Alt Art cards (a favourite amongst a lot of card game players in other games) for the two main Warbands out of the box.
It’s neat to see some alternative art options popping up for players to throw into their collection as a bonus for placing during tournaments. In addition, they also have this Deck Box for (I assume) the winners of any Shadespire competitions.
That is rather plush looking I have to say. It seems the right kind of place to put your winning deck and keep it safe for a coming game or two.
Whilst the rulebook does hint and Fyreslayers, Skaven, and two new Bloodbound and Stormcast warbands on the horizon the next warriors to head off into the depths of the city are Ironskull’s Boyz…
…and the Sepulchral Guard.
Each of these warband boxes gives you a new alternative to try out on the tabletop with new tactics to bring into play as well as a host of new neutral cards to throw into the mix when it comes to your Stormcast and Bloodbound.
Are you interested in either of these warbands and getting involved with organised play?
