Antediluvian Miniatures have now added a new dinosaur to their webstore as a permanent addition to the menagerie. See what you think of the Hylaeosaurus which is based on the image of what they thought an early Ankylosaur looked like…

Hylaeosaurus (Unpainted)

You can see the model above unpainted with its ridge of spines on its back being a rather distinctive part of the dinosaur. It looks like it’s snarling and ready to attack something that has encroached on its lair. We also have a painted version of it below…

Hylaeosaurus (Painted)

If you take a closer look at the Hylaeosaurus they have done some exceptionally good work on the eye to give it a glassy look. I love all these Victorian-era creatures they offer.
