Victorian Dinosaurs Go On A Rampage From Antediluvian Miniatures

If you’re interested in going back in time or indeed seeing mighty creatures to come life in your Pulpy/Steampunk games then check out these awesome Dinosaurs from Antediluvian Miniatures (for more on what that word means see HERE. You learn something new everyday). Below is the Megalosaurus and Iguanodon

Jurassic Park – Victorian Style

The first of their Dinosaurs to take a look at is the Megalosaurus which was the first named dinosaur. This particular model of it comes in resin and as well as it being used for Pulp gaming I could imagine it being the mount for some Fantasy warlord too. At 14cm long you might be able to find something to fit it!

Next up is the Iguanodon which incidentally was one of the first cool dinosaurs I saw and it was in this Victorian guise too. There is a statue of this particular dinosaur in Crystal Palace Park…

Iguanodon

It’s fascinating to think that this was the first impression of what they looked like and to be honest they aren’t too far off with some of the anatomy. The model is made of resin but also uses white metal for the feet coming in at 13cm in size.

I think these models present a perfect opportunity to do a ‘Night At The Museum’ style tabletop adventure where the Crystal Palace dinosaurs come to life and you’ve been tasked with finding out who has been doing it before they wreck the Park and escape!

Grab your hunting rifles chaps!
