During my daily Kickstarter patrol, I discovered a really cool project for the A-Case+ Miniature Wargaming Carrying/Display Case. I love when you find things that just make sense. The A-Case+ System, from Army-Case.com, is designed specifically with your minis in mind.
This bag combines the stylish canvas miniatures bag with the strength/flexibility of varying height shelving in this clever bag. Their use revolves around magnetising your bases so you can “stick” them to the trays and simply slide them in and out of your bag, positioned as you left them.
The frame is lightweight steel (less than 2kg) with lockable shelves that you can adjust the height of within the bag. I LOVE this idea, as you can easily plan to use the bag for transporting all sorts of minis from different game systems with no limit to the size or shape of minis (provided they fit in the bag, to begin with).
Their KS video totally reminded me of the conversation I had with Chris and Brian about Warhammer at Adepticon. They mentioned that they had plenty of gamers from out of the country that needed to transport their beautifully painted miniatures on some sort of display.
These miniatures not only had to survive the trip but adhere to the limitations of carry-ons, etc. These A-Cases+ look like a brilliant solution to this.
Will you be adding an A-Case+ to your hobby?
