Avatars Of War Send Dwarfs Hunting Deadly Saurians

Avatars of War have shown off some more models that will be coming to their world of Warthrone. On Facebook they showed off a deadly Saurian Mauler and the keen eyed Dwarf Crossbowers.
First up we have the Mauler who looks like he is going to tear his way through rank upon rank of enemies. I love that they have gone with the almost Aztec-come-Mayan look for the weapons but not taken it overboard. The actual model himself looks like more like a Dragon, which I love, and I can't wait to see some painted examples of him.
As well as the mighty figures of the Saurians they have also put together more awesome looking Dwarf models. These Crossbowers are actually, from the components you can see above, a lot less heavy on the mix and match aspect we've looked at in the past. I actually think that that's a good thing as it could be a bit fiddly putting together those Slayers.
Some great models overall though and a step in the right direction when it comes to the Saurians.

Want that Saurian Mauler – that’s a perfect old blood!
Yes, it much resembles the saurian hero they had done… but I really like this one ! Much more primal !
The Hero is awesome looking but the I’ll only pick up the troops if the price is right. the dwarf ranger box that came out not long ago cost $50.00, that’s very nearly GW prices.
But arguably nicer models (in the case of the Dwarves/dwarfs). I know what you mean though – pretty pricey.
AOW releases are becoming much more frequent. Very interested by all of their models, especially that Lizardman.
