Placing down some Anti Tank artillery in the sidelines away from the action and above on the rise of hills will certainly give yourself the advantage that you need to keep your own tanks safe in the frontlines of war.
What are your best tabletop war stories?
Is there a rule to put a tank in overwatch and fire if something crosses its arc? If you’d been able to put two panzer IVs hull down and then one covering the squads right flank against the crusaders obvious next move it would have been good. Because its so turn by turn there is a lot of tanks just popping into existence in your rear or flank without you being able to really counter manoeuvre to stay hull down to the enemy. Just turns into a question of who can magically bum-rush the fastest!
