Stug G Platoon Reporting For Duty From Battlefront!

Ok, so this should make Warren a very happy man. Battlefront Miniatures has released their Stug III G Platoon box for Flames of War.
So you too can add these pesky rolling meneces to your army and cause havoc to your opponent. The box contains 5 plastic miniatures along with the 75 and 105mm gun options.
There is also a tank commander sprue and decals. They do have the detail down with the addition of the commanders cupola.
So if you too are looking to add some of these squat tough battle wagons you might want to check these out.
Is your armour list complete?
It’s nice to have option of getting some plastic StuGGs outside starter box.
Since quite some time you can get plastic STUGS from Plastic Soldier Company. Quality is way better than of those in OPEN FIRE and on par what I have seen plasticwise from Battlefront.
Ah and they cost about half as much.
So how many of these will Warren be buying, I wonder?
Well that will probably depend on the amount he can get on the table. Lol
He didn’t choose the Stug life. The Stug life chose him.
One significant improvement over the earlier plastic StuG is the one piece weapons with the muzzle brake incorporated into the component. That fiddley add on in the older sprue was what Forrest Gump would call a ‘pain in thuh buah-tocks’.
LOL I think warren will need a skip to get them all in 🙂 go go stugs
Amazing detail. Look at the jerrycans on the back deck. Great stuff. Stuff like this is the payoff for going to 28mm. 🙂
It’s 15mm! For 28mm scale models these’d be pretty poor ;P

Regardless of scale. You can never have enough Stugs. For the cool factor and the fact that the things were everywhere.
