Fantasy Flight Games have a new party game of political intrigue and vampiric backstabbing up for pre-order and have just presented a preview of Blood Bound.

Blood Bound

In this game, you and your friends take on the role of vampires from two different competing clans; the Gargoyles and the Phoenix clans. However, years of conflict have left you paranoid, meaning you're not sure who is an ally and who is an enemy. You must use all your political whiles to survive the night.

Blood Bound Characters

At the start of the game, players are given their secret character card. During their active turn, they are given the dagger. They can then choose to pass the dagger on, or wound someone around the table. Wounding someone brings them closer to death and forces them to reveal a secret of their character, but it also brings attention to you. Maybe you would be better to persuade someone else to attack on your behalf...

Blood Bound Game Components

It looks like this game will be a development on favourite party games, like Werewolves, etc., but with a greater focus on the political side of things. I particularly like the idea that you could be the leader of your faction without even realising it. with a few adjustments and the use of a timer, I think this could be a fun basis for a one-of mini LARP as well.

Is this a game you're planning on pre-ordering? How would you try to play this game?
