Games Workshop Preview The Balls Of Blood Bowl

This sounds like a wind up but I promise you that this is the newest preview for Blood Bowl by Games Workshop. Over on Facebook they showed off the look for the new balls you'll be kicking, throwing and punching around on the tabletop...
While this almost seems like a non-story it would be interesting if we actually saw some alternative game modes including the ball in Blood Bowl.
When I used to play FUMBBL there were options for a spiked ball that hurt you, a regular ball and even at one point a ball with wings! Maybe we could see an animated ball that runs around on the floor if its dropped or the spiked one causing some blood loss when it smashes into your face.
What do you think of the possibilities?

Back in the day of the Citadel Journal there were such rules for the latter I’m sure. For the other, definitely: it was the Ball-Squig! 🙂
