In the early years of the war, the Char B1 bis proved very successful in fighting off German Panzers.
This was not to last however as it’s slow speed and high fuel consumption left it flagging in the more mobile battlefields of WWII.
“With the fall of France, the victorious German military captured 161 Char B1 bis tanks and repurposed them under the nomenclature Panzerkampfwagen B-2 740 (f). Several were also converted into flame-throwing tanks. Many would find a defensive use on the channel islands and the Atlantic wall.”
The kit actually allows you to build either a French or German gun tank or if you wish to fight in a later period of the war you can pick from one of two versions of German flammpanzers.
The kit comes with the usual stat cards, waterslide decal sheets, damage markers and also the options of one French or two German tank commanders.
All-in-all a really well rounded kit full of options from Warlord here.
Which way would you assemble this kit?
