Cigar Box Battle have put together a new Waterloo 4x6 Mat for use with your 15mm scale versions of the battle. You can check it out below as well as a few others from their range...

Waterloo Mat

As you can see the mats are highly detailed and all of them are professionally illustrated to the highest standard. Instead of these being made of paper or PVC these are made of a fleece material which I think helps get rid of some of the shiny quality you see on some battle mats.

Below are some more detailed shots of the mat up close showing off key spots on the map for wargamers looking to re-create the battle of Waterloo...

La Haye Sainte

Plancenoit

While I mentioned 15mm scale above the mat can support figures from 2mm upwards and they also recommend the card based game Blucher which you can check out HERE.

Different Locations

As well as the mat for use in Waterloo they also make a range of different mats that fit any scale. Below you'll find (in order) the European Fields, Beachhead, Muddy Barren and Town Square mats...

European Fields

Beach Head

Muddy Barrens

Town Square

I'm quite the fan of the Beachhead one myself as, according to them, you can combine it with the big ocean mat they make and some more of the land based ones to create an even bigger battlefield. These look like they're all made of a nice material and the detail looks good too (you can see a close up of the mat in the video above).

Have you picked up any of these mats?
