Darrell takes a look at one of his favourite miniatures for Dark Age: Apocalypse… the Ice Elemental
Does he like it because of its game rules or because he doesn’t have to paint it?

This is so freaking cool ! Thank you Darrel, for showing me this…
You can get it in two versions, the clear one and the “paintable” one.
BoW Romain
Any ideas to add a bit of color to the clear one, Romain? Darrell mentions washing the base to make the elemental a bit different, but do you have any ideas to paint things like eyes, or even give some shadows to the body of a transparent plastic model? (I thought if anyone would know, it would be you.)
For making navigation lights for my aircraft models I use clear sprue. To colour them I mix some acrylic with Klear, which is an acrylic floor polish
That might be one way of adding some tints to the clear resin
Indeed. Very cool. I didn’t realize there was two versions of him. Good to know as Ice Caste were one of the 3 armies I’m looking into starting.
Very nice.
I think this is some cheese youve been keeping in the fridge darrel!
To all KoW players – here’s something to add to the list of counts-as Obsidian Golems.
Was thinking the same thing myself~
All you need in the game is an extinguisher full of hot coffee to take him down (movie reference)
