Now we come to Darrell’s favorite part of a turn in the Dark Age system, Close Combat! Or in other words getting to smack something with the cutting edge of post-apocalyptic technology… a block of concrete!
Great video guys. Really looks like an easy system with some cool rules. Plus slabs of concrete is just great as a weapon. Thanks for the video guys. I love it when you guys cover systems other then 40k.
great vid about the game! though i would like to address something that would have helped Darrell with the AP Charge as well as the damage if he would have hit.
The Brute on an AS of 6 with a Uber Blok, he would have had a 7 because of the Charge AP. and on the hit, if it did, the damage of the Blok would have been a 7×2 with Justin rolling both d20s at the same time. If damage was true, the Blok causes 2 damage points rather than 1 because of Extreme Damage (ED) 2.
Finally, if Darrel had got off the first kill he can spend his last AP, move into contact and gain a Charge AP if the other coil was a bit further away.
as for lists i started adding three more wasteland warrior and only 1 Brute to make a 500pt warband to fight against my friends Skarrd, which he only added one model, The Raze. Fear causing Raze equals no fun for gang due to it neutralizing the affects.
I started watching but it appears that Darrell does not know the rules! Did he even read the rule book before the video. Come on guys, you need to do your homework. A squad is a collection of units (a single model) and you activate a squad or a individual.
Justin didn’t get to attack back, is that right ? Great to see other games systems
