Fantasy Flight Games have released the latest expansion for Dark Heresy 2nd Edition, letting you step into the shoes of the acolytes of the Ordo Hereticus. It is time to hunt for the Enemies Within.

Enemies Within opens up new threats to face and new options for character creation as you face off against the cults that lurk within the shadows of Imperial society.

Begin Your Inquest

The book details rules for engaging in Inquests. Players carefully plan the scope and target of their Inquest, digging up clues and finding evidence as they are led inexorably to a face off against the heretic they have been targeting.

Such rules help the GM to better structure their story, while also allowing the acolytes themselves a greater level of control over the nature and form of their investigative process.

Join the Ordo

One of the coolest things about this supplement is the new options for character to creation, providing us with all new backgrounds and gear to choose from. New character types have become available, including the chance to be a Penitent Mutant, rare but fascinating figures in 40k lore, or even a member of the Adepta Sororitas.

There is even the option to advance in the Adepta Sororitas and become one of the legendary Sister of Battle with their new elite advance.

The Ordo Hereticus are an integral part of the dark character of the Inquisition. In attitude, they make the Spanish Inquisition look lenient. This of course opens up plenty of opportunity for political dealing, high pressure paranoia and dark plots.
