Wizkids have continued to preview for Dungeons & Dragons Dice Masters: Battle for Faerun and this time it’s one of the monster cards and a neutral one for the middle of the game area from Dice Masters…
The Beholder is an interesting card with a very low fielding cost even though his buying cost is quite high. With a reasonable attack and defence stat (the numbers on the right) he isn’t a slouch in combat but his real skill is his card ability. In combination with basic NPC dice you could easily start picking up all the neutral basic action dice you want – admittedly the opponent can also benefit from him being there!
Above is one of these basic action cards, Dimension Door. This could be quite lethal when used in conjunction with some big heroes you have in your collection. Use the ability and push them through a wall of defenders to start causing some damage. This was quite the problem in some games of Marvel Dice Masters that was solved by Thrown Car but this is a step up!
Have you been playing Dice Masters?
