Deadzone: Infestation from Mantic Games has gone live on Kickstarter allowing you to pledge for a revamped rulebook, new mission pack for Infestation, plastic miniatures and loads more terrain for the game!
Above is the pledge level from the start compiling all of the different aspects talked about above including a snap shot of The Piper Veer-Myn that will be exclusive to Kickstarter. That’s quite a haul of stuff I reckon!
More on the Veer-Myn Faction…
“An insidious disease ridden race, the Veer-Myn fester in the darkest corners of man’s world. Their broods writhe and chatter in a rodent like manner, equally matched by their physical appearance. The uncertainty of whether the Veer-Myn act with a motive, or just the need to infest and expand, only adds to the nightmare created from what lurks within the shadows.”
More on the Pathfinders…
“Even amongst the ranks of the Enforcers, the Pathfinders are an elite and highly specialised group. Their role demands that they avoid direct contact with the enemy wherever possible and their standard equipment and weaponry reflect this. Deployed ahead of the main force, the Pathfinders are tasked with gathering all the necessary Intel required to support a successful campaign, while eliminating any obstacles that may hinder the deployment of the main Enforcer vanguard.”
While the Veer-Myn are there as a new faction (coming to you as a new hard plastic multi-part sprue) you have the Enforcer Pathfinders who add on to the already available faction within the game and act as scouts for the rest of the heavily armoured forces coming to the battlefield.
The Kickstarter will, on top of bringing new models to the table, be adding some new rules nuances, tweaks and such to the game as well as more in-depth rules for force organisation and even campaign play which is fairly epic.
Which faction do you prefer; Veer-Myn or Pathfinders?
