Tackle An Urban Wasteland With Deep-Cut Studio’s New Mat

July 26, 2015 by brennon

After scratching my head over just how on earth to build a nice gaming table this weekend I turned back to Deep-Cut Studios and I'm increasingly thinking that gaming mats are the way forward. See what you think of their newest piece which is for an Urban Wasteland...

Wasteland

This urban landscape looks like it would fit in nicely with a range of different Modern, Historical and Sci-Fi settings. I could easily see this being the site of an industrial complex during the Gulf War, or the outskirts of a ruined town in the likes of DUST.

Combine this mat with some scatter terrain to make it so any buildings you put down aren't so starkly 'set against it' and you'd have an awesome table I reckon. If you were working on anything to fit the style of Fallout then this could match very nicely too.

What do you think of gaming mats?
