AntiMatter Games have two new models up for pre-order to bring the hazards of the deep sea to your tabletop. The rotting remains of one of the sea's greatest denizens and a tantalising yet lethal mollusc.

Great White Whale No More

First, we are treated to the tragic sight of a mighty whale carcass, rotting on the ocean floor.

Whale Carcass

Whale Carcass

Judging by the jaw, this was once a mighty sperm whale, much like the one from Moby Dick. But it's been a while since this one swam the seas and it is now home to all manner of gribbly creatures, such as giant hag fish which will attack if you get too close.

The model itself is made of resin and is 240mm in length. This alone makes it a pretty sizable terrain piece to take into account, but the fact that getting too close could lead to you joining it makes it an even better addition to your tabletop sea floor.

Don't Clam Up

Perhaps more dangerous than an infested whale carcass is the predatory Doom Clam.

Doom Clam

Doom Clam Back

Doom Clam

At 70mm tall and 75mm in diameter, this is one massive piece of sea food. Of course, it's far more likely to be eating you as it apparently sucks in unwary divers who come to investigate it treasures.

This massive clam is exactly the sort of monster I would expect to be living in the sort of waters AntiMatter swim in, filled with treasure and surrounded by the bones of its victims.

Do you play Deep Wars? What do you think of these two scenery pieces?

"[The whale] is now home to all manner of gribbly creatures, such as giant hag fish which will attack if you get too close..."
