Monsters, Blademasters & Wizards For The D&D Collectors Series!

Gale Force Nine have added two more sets to their D&D Collectors Series. The first of these is the mighty Remorhaz followed by a duo set which includes Naergoth Bladelord & Rath Modar

Remorhaz (Front)

Remorhaz (Rear)

“The Remorhaz uses its intense internal heat to burrow through the ice and rock of its arctic home, preying on any creatures it comes across, even giants and dragons.”

Another amazing looking piece that is utterly astounding when you take a look at it on the back of the box in it’s unpainted form. The painted version then takes it up another level entirely! I would love to see a diorama with a bunch of heroes taking on this beast as it bursts from the ground.

Naergoth Bladelord & Rath Modar (Front)

Naergoth Bladelord & Rath Modar (Rear)

“Naergoth Bladelord is a wight who commanded the Well of Dragons for centuries before the Cult of the Dragon’s recent takeover. He remains fanatically loyal to Tiamat. Rath Modar, a renegade Red Wizard, has joined forces with the Cult of the Dragon in hopes that his new allies will help him unseat Szass Tam, the lich who commands the Thayan wizards. Contains 2 unpainted, unassembled resin figures.”

As well as that deadly beast you have these two from the Tyranny of Dragons storyline. Once again an amazing pair that really do show off the astounding level of detail that you get from this Gale Force Nine range. Admittedly I haven’t had these in my hands but I think the images speak for themselves.

Hill Giant (Front)

Hill Giant (Rear)

“Dim-witted and bullying, a hill giant lives like a savage. Although brutish by nature, a hill giant possesses more cunning than an ogre. A hill giant might attempt to ape the traditions of a realm it destroys, anointing itself king and demanding a daily tribute of pumpkins and cows. Contains 8 resin pieces.”

…and now back to monsters with this epic Hill Giant! I love the pose and the old school look to the sculpt mixed with some new age detailing and sculpting to make it stands up against the rest of the monsters in the range.

Gale Force Nine Dragon

I love what Gale Force Nine are doing with this Tyranny of Dragons range and while it’s leagues apart from the WizKids offerings it’s good to have miniatures on either end of the spectrum. To keep you on your toes this Dragon above shouldn’t be far away either so watch this space.

Would you buy these new collectors pieces?
