DUST welcomes another walker to the tabletop for the Allies. This time we have the Blackhawk M1B Light Assault Walk – PIAT to give it it’s full title.
So what’s the deal with the Blackhawk?
“The Light Assault Walker chassis is one of the most common found in the grand Allied Army. It can be found all over the World, wherever the Allies fight. These vehicles are usually used for reconnaissance mission or flank the enemy while heavier walkers do the heavy lifting.
The M1B “Blackhawk” mounts an impressive weapon system based on the British PIAT (Projector, Infantry, Anti-Tank), but greatly over-sized! The massive explosion blows up armoured vehicles and is devastating to enemy infantry as well. It can only attack at close range but thanks to the walker’s speed, it’s usually not a big deal.”
I really like the design of this walker which has much more of a Sci-Fi feel about it. I think it’s due to the way the legs have been designed, removing the chunky style we’re used to seeing in favour of something more nimble.
Will you be grabbing this fellow for your games of DUST?
