Mountains Of Madness Now Available For Eldritch Horror!

If you're looking to expand on your Eldritch Horror Cthulhu experience from Fantasy Flight Games then check out Mountains of Madness that has now been made available as a neat sideboard expansion!

This time your adventurers and investigators will be heading off into the deathly cold...

"A Misktaonic University expedition to Antarctica has discovered prehistoric ruins and encountered inhuman, bloodthirsty creatures. In Mountains of Madness, investigators follow that expedition's trail and search Antarctica’s icy expanses for the clues needed to save humanity from the awakening Ancient Ones. In addition to the side board depicting locations throughout Antarctica, this expansion features two Ancient Ones and eight investigators who are willing to sacrifice their lives and their sanity to save the human race. These brave souls are aided by plenty of new Assets, Spells, and Artifacts as they search for clues and battle not only monsters, but harsh and deadly conditions across the globe."

...it's sounding awesome and I've only heard good things about Eldritch Horror as a board game. If you're looking for a globe trotting pulp adventure then this is pretty much the game for you.

This looks cool and i’m hoping Guilermo del Toro picks up his development of his AT THE MOUNTAINS OF MADDNESS movie project at some point. Hellboy 3 needs to be done as well!

Still only played the base game a few times so far.

Has anyone got the small expansion that was released, and is it worth getting?

The small expansion is well worth getting. Mostly as it adds a bunch of cards to the existing AO decks, making things a little less predictable and repetitive. I think the new one is currently sat under our tree, thanks to the missus 🙂
