Adam go’s off the Reservation to take a look at the Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator, and gets an interview with the creator Thom Robertson.
Looks cool – now all it needs is a Battlefleet Gothic or Rogue Trader mod, though with a lot of toning down from the fluff; can’t remember what it was for BFG, but RT said that one turn of space combat represented about half an hour. Translate that into this simulator and it’d take you most of the day just for one battle.
And a lot of that time spent waiting for macrocannon rounds to reach their targets.
This sounds like a fun game.
I got it just yesterday. I definitely recommend it. It was just me (captain) my brother (Comms/Helm/Science) and his buddy (Eng/Tactical), but it was awesome fun. I imagine it would only be better with a full crew. Definitely get it.
