Gen Con 2016 Live Blog: Day Three!

Good Morning to you all! Are you ready for day 3? We are and Dawn gives you a hint of things to come today.

I just HAD to buy the new Mansion of Madness game from FFG yesterday and I cracked it open last night for a look. The app is pretty slick, complete with creepy ambient music to set the scene. Have a look at what's inside.

We find our friends from 4Ground amongst the sea of vendors. Dawn chats with Ben and he gives us a rundown of what they have brought from across the pond.

I tracked down the Halo Ground Fleet Demos table, and folks are LOVING it! Another awesome way people can connect to the exciting Halo universe that we've come to know and love from the video games.

Warsenal has done it again this year and have brought all their amazing terrain to stage the perfect outpost for your Infinity Game. They're offering some great bundles here at the show too!

While Gianna is filming Carlos' famous Infinity tell-all seminar, I figured I'd sneak up to the booth to grab some pics. The pile of Operation Red Veil Is quickly disappearing, so it's safe to say that the Infinity players are loving it.

I had a tiny chat with the folks from Gamelyn Games about their Tiny EPIC adventure games. These games are for 2-4 players and give players a Dungeon delving gaming experience with quests that plays out in roughly 30-45 min. They have a teaser box for their Tiny EPIC Quest game that will be heading to Kickstarter in the near future.

I had a chance to chat with Adam from Kingdom Death this am and he confirmed the next step for the stunning boutique game will be a Kickstarter to fund Kingdom Death 1.4 Reprint. This will be the same game with just a couple minor tweaks in the rules and perhaps only a few KS new models. Until then, they have added new card art to a few of the existing sculpts- and don't worry, if you already have the sculpts and would like the card art, reach out to Kingdom Death and they will sort you out. They do not want existing supporters to feel slighted. When asked about expansions, Adam said they want to address the Reprint first as they continue to be flooded with requests for the game.

Academy Games had a ton of people at their booth learning why the military loves their games for teaching the fundamentals of tactics. Their assortment of games feature historical scenarios and allow gamers to maneuver their forces around to press their advantage.

I went past the GW booth (for the 900th time), and still no Andy to chat with. I will continue to keep an eye out. But in the meantime, here's a few pics of the goodies in their case.

Ninja Division is now a distributer for Prodos Games' Phenomenal miniatureso game, AVP. Check out these painted minis in their case! WOW!

Dawn talks with John from DGS Games about what is new for Freeblades.

HBS is drawing quite the crowd to have a look at their early alpha testing of their online Battletech format. It looks pretty awesome!

If you love Pandemic (who doesn't?), and you love Cthulhu, there's no reason to not be interested in Cthulhu Pandemic. There's not an empty table in their play area. Though another game of theirs caught my eye- Broadsides. It's a card based, pirate themed board game- and I do love my pirate stuff!

We catch up with the mastermind behind the Wanders from Red Panda Miniatures.

We have had several people ask about Plastic Soldier Company's new game Battle of Britain. So, we found their booth and we get a quick update.

The big game being played at the Catalyst Games Lab booth is their newest Valiant Deck Building Game. This cool game incorporates miniatures and a bit of tabletop gaming into the mix for a really interesting game.

Dawn talks with Ian from Griggling Games about Quartermaster General and Victory or Death.

We were able to get in a few moments at this popular booth to talk about the upcoming game Blood and Plunder!

The Demo Hall is full to the brim with people gaming in any way you can think of. Star Wars is being represented in many ways on its own. X-Wing, Imperial Assault, The Card Game and home brew rules- and those are just the ones I saw!

Soda Pop Miniatures had so many gorgeous painted minis in their cases! The Relic Knights were looking especially awesome so I squeezed my way up to the case for some pics.

So Dawn was at the top of her game today as she broke down the defense of the guys from Steamforged Games and got them to spill the beans. We now got an EXCLUSIVE!
