So what's the new expansion about?
"The second Rim Space Expansion set for Firefly: The Game, Kalidasa adds a massive star system to the ‘Verse with loads of new opportunities for adventure and profit. No sector of space is safe as the long arm of the Alliance reaches out beyond the central planets with the addition of the Operative’s Corvette.
Every region of the ‘Verse becomes more dangerous with the addition of new Nav Cards for Alliance Space, Border Space and Rim Space. Two new Contacts, including the twin brothers Fanty & Mingo, provide new work opportunities for ambitious crews, especially those willing to get their hands dirty.
The bustling port of Beaumonde offers exciting new gear and supplies for captains of all sorts. The bounty of the Rim also flows back to other Supply Planets with new crew, gear and ship upgrades appearing on other worlds. Finally, new Set Up cards, new Story Cards and a host of surprises await the bold."

I will be picking this up for sure, along with the two mini coachworks expansions which I guess must be due around the same time. One day I am sure I will even play the game! 😀
The base game is OK. You tend to fly around doing your own thing and oblivious to the other players until one of you reaches the point where you can’t fail most of the rolls and they just win from there. Blue Sun in particular does a lot to address that and I’d definitely recommend playing with that added. We also house rule out Jane’s Hat because it’s stupidly broken.
Same as Siygess I will be picking it all up and hoping to actually play my game at some point! Fantastic looking game.
Another board? We’re already at capacity with Blue Sun. We’re gonna need a bigger boat…
I love the game. I also just preordered the new game mat hat has all three boards. This should make setup easier.
I have every promo, expansion, ship etc. for the game. However, I have not yet played Blue Sun, because over 35!!! piles of cards is a bit too much for my table.
I need to find a solution for a card deck holder that combines piles and discards on top of each other. This should get me ready for the new expansion (then the game has 21 decks and their discards).
