Really want to get into flames of war; the only thing that’s currently putting me off is a lack of painting articles and videos out there: would love you guys to do a painting video for the most common schemes!
I was worried about this at first, especially as I wanted my soviet tanks numbering to be historically accurate (which turned out to be very difficult to research). The hobby book that comes with the hardback rulebook is excellent, and gives quite a few painting tips and articles. Generally, you won’t go far wrong just getting the FoW spray cans for your force. Just make sure you check whether it matches with early mid or late! And looking at real life examples for the major forces will give you a good idea of how to progress.
Also, have a look at the FoW YouTube channel. I know they had a few painting videos from a while ago that i found very useful.
In regards to the videos, very good job. Matt does an excellent job of keeping the rules relevant and very clear. Would love to see some basic tactics vids with him.
Thanks for the tip mate, think I’m going to do a guards armoured company: some lovely decals out there and should be quite easy with the late war British spray paint.
