Footsore Miniatures has created some WWI troops for the BEF (British Expeditionary Force) and in true Scottish fashion they are taking the fight to the enemy in their traditional military uniform of kilts, sporran and Glengarry, sporting the traditional tartan.
There is also officers modeled with Webley revolvers and troops with Lee Enfield SMLE Mk IIIs (Which I own one, lovely rifle, I digress). These miniatures are in 28mm and would make a lovely addition to anyone’s WWI collection.
I am wondering if they could be used in WWII game such as Bolt Action or Chain of Command. You have to admire any guy willing to run around a battleground with that choice of clothing, do they not realize where dirt, sand and mud can get to?
What do you think of these?
