This time the story is delving into the aftermath of the Battle of Blackwater and the way the Kingdoms are struggling to hold things together. A wealth of characters and more will be drawn from A Storm Of Swords, pushing things on and building the narrative as packs are released.
One of the big cards in the pack that you can see above is Alliance. Being able to run two Banner Agendas means that you’ll be able to draw in support from different factions and create some very interesting decks as you ally the various Houses and pull off insane combinations no doubt.
Talking of insane combinations, one character, Ricasso builds on the ‘wait and see’ mechanics of House Martell.
They have plenty of cards as part of their deck which base themselves on how many Plot Cards (effectively turns) have been played out. With his ability to build on this each turn you can start to bring in some rather dangerous combinations using existing cards in the pool.
Doran Martell, for example, gets more powerful with each card played and Doran’s Game gains you a rather insane amount of power (victory points) as you play now.
What do you think of the new cards we’ve seen so far?
