It's time for you to master the art of intrigue and subtle ploys as House Tyrell look forward to their new Deluxe Expansion for Fantasy Flight Games' A Game Of Thrones: The Card Game.

House Of Thorns

As you might imagine the Tyrells are going to be trying to win through manipulation of the board state and careful ploys behind the scenes. You can certainly see that being the case when you get a look at the new Margaery Tyrell from this set.

Tyrell Cards

With her ability, she will be able to pull people into challenges they don't need to participate in and potentially screw up their chances at hitting back with quite as much clout. It might even tip the balance in your favour if you do the maths right.

Mace Tyrell is another manipulator of the field of play. If you get him going he could potentially gain power quite quickly.

Mace Tyrell

He also has the ability to make sure one of your characters doesn't get the chop prematurely. Think that Margaery is about to get her head cut off? No problem, remove her for the phase and bring her back in to secure some dominance later.

Of course, the theme of Summer and Knights is still a big part of the Tyrell playbook and there will be plenty of ways for you to manipulate this on the tabletop if you prefer the more combative side of the Tyrells.

Support Of The Maesters

Another big release with this Deluxe Expansion is the Agenda for the Maesters allowing you to include them from various different factions.

House Cards

Suddenly Maester cards from your neutral cards and all of the other factions will be working together behind the scenes, supporting one specific faction to bring them to dominance in Westeros. You could just imagine this happening for the Baratheons or the Targaryens.

Will you be checking out this deluxe expansion in more detail?
