Warhammer Fest is going to be the replacement for Games Day from Games Workshop and it’s rolling out this year in October across the weekend of the 11th and 12th (Saturday & Sunday). See what you think of the format this time around…
On Saturday they will be running Seminars, meetings with the Design Team, Demo Pods concerning a range of different avenues in the hobby and Archives a mass of different miniatures and artwork from the past for you to look at.
Sunday is much the same but without the Archives part and instead welcoming Golden Demon as usual for you to gawk over and wish your painting was as good. This should get some people kicked into gear so they can decide what they’re going to paint!
This certainly sounds like an interesting direction for the day and while it’s a bit more out of the way in the Ricoh Arena in Coventry it might not be such a bad thing to have a fresh start. A bit of a pain of course to be there over two days – I quite liked the single day experience – but if there is enough to see and do then one can’t complain.
What do you think?
