Gale Force Nine have been doing a lot of work with Wizards of the Coast for Dungeons & Dragons. They are helming their Collector’s Series of miniatures AND the board games too. The new Dragon+ Magazine delves into both of these projects…
No this isn’t about terrible sculpting but instead one of their newest models, Strahd von Zarovich, for the latest D&D supplement. They go into detail about sculpting the beast and its rider.
The article gives you a good insight into how these models come together and how they work out the best way to pose them too.
If you’re interested in the process behind the models we get to play with on the tabletop then this is a good read indeed.
