Water & Air Become The Focus Of D&D Elemental Evil By Gale Force Nine

April 29, 2015 by brennon

The Dungeons & Dragons Elemental Evil line-up grows from Gale Force Nine with the addition of Gar Shatterkeel & Priest to the range summoning up some deadly Water Elementals to face your heroes. With that in mind it’s also a good idea to check out Aerisi Kalinoth & Priest too for all your Air Elemental needs…

From The Depths

As mentioned above it’s about time to stir up a storm in the ocean with Gar Shatterkeel & Priest who look like a fantastic set that would be fun to paint up in some swirling green and blues to make them look as if, at least Gar, is made of the sea itself…

A great looking model that will seriously test your skills as a painter when bringing it to life. As well as that you might want something to summon up from the depths so don’t forget the Water Myrmidon that’s also available from Gale Force Nine.

Water Myrmidon

I love these models and to some degree they’re even better than the actual artwork that we saw from the Monster Manuals and Elemental Evil sourcebook. I think the armour is amazing for one!

From The Skies

While Gar deals with the heroes from the seas Aerisi Kalinoth & Priest deal with threats from the air and will be flying into battle alongside their own Elemental guardians…

I’m not so much of a fan of this set as the previous one mainly because I think the posing and such for the Water Priest is so much better. I don’t think they’ve managed to capture the feminine quality of the Aerisi either in her facial features but it could just be the paint job that while impressive makes her look a bit too manly in my opinion.

You do get to potentially summon this though…

Air Myrmidon

Once again a superb looking miniature with this Air Myrmidon that stands head and shoulders above the kind of pre-painted models you’d normally see for Dungeons & Dragons AND it also looks better than the artwork too!

What Elemental forces will you be summoning?
