    Printer: FDM (Omega i3)
    Slicer: Cura 2.7
    Layer Height: 0.01mm
    Adjustments Required: Had to rotate the model to lie flat in Cura

    Printed this to show Savanna and Manny how the ‘robot’ worked. Quite a cool model as it came out fully articulated!

    Very pleased with the end result. :)

    @warzan nice!

    2.5d printed this out of plasticard, test peice for my ongoing space station project…
    Simple vector art made in inkscape and printed on a silhouette portrait desktop vinyl cutter, no adjustments just worked out of the box ;)

    Nice print Warren how long was the print? i am planning on print this today per your suggestion on hobby night live Friday.

    i found it easier to “Build” in the horizontal but orentated vertical to print

    I’ve been modeling my own project. I love Sherlock Hound, an old tv show from Japan, which was one of Miyazaki’s first productions.

    It’s a hard job because of how simple the undercarriage is. But I also want to make sure that I print things in their optimal orientation, so you can see I have split up things like the lanterns so that they fit together well. It’s quite technical modeling.

    Spent the evening printing this, not bad for a novice I think. I have reoriented the model on the bed and am reprinting to see what affect that has.

    i’ve just playing around with a few little things.

    found some awesome 40k/30k tokens on thingiverse so just had to try them out and also gave printing a wooden barrel ago. the tokens came out pretty damn good, i just sanded them down a little to smooth them out a little and the barrel is okay, not perfect up close but on a table with more it will look pretty good i think.

    i’m currently printing an oil drum barricade i found on thingiverse.

    oh and i’ve also printed one of these brush holders:

    had a little warping on one of the components but i thought i might, i just wanted to see how it would come out if i didn’t use any rifts or anything. but the warping hasn’t effected it in it’s function. you can see it in my photo but i was expecting it to happen to that piece.

    i would totally recommend this for your brushes!

    i’ve just printed a little tool to help me apply GW texture paints, no way i was paying £5.50 or what ever it is for one at GW. it was a clay sculpting tool found on thingiverse and i’ve just resized it so it’s small and thinner and then i just sanded the end down to make it a little more precise.

    @dunham99 looks useful :)
    Great for PVA too, ive always used ice lolly sticks whittled down because i wont pay that for a glue applicator, the ones you can get in kids craft sections work well too if trimmed to size….

    @nakchak if i wasn’t on a diet i’d have loads of lolly sticks :( but sadly the printer will have to do ;)

    I designed these in a 3D model program called Hexagon 2.5, I then printed them on a borrowed 3D printer called Zortrax M200 with HIPS Filament FDM printing. Painted them with Vallejo and GW paints.

    The vehicles are for 15mm sci fi, me and my wife are getting in to 15mm sci fi and we wanted out own vehicles. I also have some alien ones which I have printed and will show them off at some stage.

    An upgrade for my printer, a duct for a different cooling fan. A first attempt at printing PETG too :)

    This is last nights effort and I must say I’m mightily please. I went back to PLA and trie using brim instead of raft, still printing on the fine setting.

    I got side tracked here my original print : 9 hour 27 minutes: i had issue with infill at 20% with printing thing flat. i tried stand wall upright and the print was much better.

    nothing a little filler and paint cant fix
