This thread will be for my projects from Soda Pop Miniatures, Relic Knights and Super Dungeon Explore. First up is the SDE candy & Cola. Her face was very fun to paint, but getting the skin just right was difficult. The photos seem just a little washed out, but they still look good.
I’ve had this guy done for a long time now but was never happy with him so I did a few minor changes and I think he’s much more visually interesting now.
Navarre Hauser
It has been a difficult summer for painting but the fall is coming and the weather is much more acclimate for priming and sealing models. Here are two more metal shattered sword paladins I finished recently and just got to seal today. I am eager to see how the plastic models for the game will turn out.
I’ve been working on Sebastian Cross off and on in the last few weeks and he is almost finished. I need to paint and add two tapestries to the back of his relic, but otherwise he is finished.
Very lovely ! Airbrushing, I take it ?
Sebastian looks like he needs touching up (a few sloppy strokes on the armor) but I take it he’s not finished…
I airbrushed the main off-white color and it’s shading/hilighting then handpainted the rest along with any touchups. The main color is white with a tiny drop of P3 coal black added while I shaded it with an even mix of white, coal black, and beaten purple. I love how this color works for futuristic porcelain white armor on a space knight. I got lazy on Sebastian’s back and lower legs since they wouldn’t be visible on the completed model with him glued in. I spent most of my time trying to make sure the face was up to par (still not entirely satisfied with this, but I’ll have a chance to poke at it a bit more before I call it done) and seeing that the armor on the upper body was clean.
You’re completely forgiven… This looks really good !
I finished the back tapestries, banners, or whatever they are and did just a little greenstuff where they attach to make the cloth look more wrapped around than just “there.” He doesn’t look different from the front but I took lots of photos of other angles too.
Wow, very cool ! Quite crisp !
