    Hi All

    As the new Hoards plastic starter boxes are on the way I am interested in starting a hoards faction. However I don’t want to start troll bloods as a friend of mine collects them so out of the other 3 factions can you tell me what would be a good one to buy.

    I play Cryx in Warmachine so a different sort of playing style would be nice as I hear that LOE are a bit of a glass cannon very much like the cryx are a glass dagger.

    Also BOW how about you do videos on the boxes please as I still think your neglecting the hoards coverage somewhat.

    Not the ultimate expert, but let me try to write a short summary of how I see the different armies/races:

    Legion are very maneuverable, speed 6-7 on all beasts, plus almost all of them have either flying or pathfinder. They can’t take that much of a beating tho, so they rely alot on their alpha damage to minimize losses. They also employ a variety of ranged attacks which pack quite a punch, although you should never underestimate the large ones in melee

    Skorne are focussed around melee combat with the “usual” mix of lighter, but faster units, coupled with huge and heavily armored, but slow ones behind them. Their Titans are tough, really tough and excel in melee combat with charge attacks etc

    Circle at first glance seems somewhat similar to the Legion, although they greatly favor magic attacks above melee combat and try to make “excessive” use of synergy effects between their units

    Tbh I have absolutely no clue about minions, so nothing to write here :P

    I thought Circle was all about surprise moves with placement etc from shifting stones and other tricks plus giant smash face wolves. Im currently looking at selling stuff to snag 35pts of Circle- love some of the metals more than plastics but plastics not awful. Immune to some effects as well, in particular druids.

    Legion are full of cheese (some nasty nasty lists out there). Plastics seem to be identical

    Trolls are best and they will eat anyone who disagrees (finally doing ok at tournies)
