The Lizardmen Return To Blood Bowl’s Gridiron Soon!

Games Workshop is bringing another classic team back to the Blood Bowl pitch soon with the Gwaka'Moli Crater Gators!
The team will be made up of a range of interesting creatures. The Saurus work as your grim and determined defenders who stick to the front lines and tie the opposing team down. Rushing down the wings you have the very nimble (if especially squishy) Skinks.
Once again, the sculpts for these teams are stunning and the design team have really pushed the boat out when it comes to creating dynamic models that look like they are in the midst of play. I particularly like the Chameleon Skink who has used his innate skills to snag the ball.
You need to have a solid tactical mind to make Lizardmen work but they are a lot of fun. Their bright skin also invites colourful paint schemes so go wild.

cute little things
These are very cool and all, but they ‘borrowed’ Alex Huntley (Warploque miniatures) sculpt idea for a skink-like creature grabbing a ball with its tongue.
Solid tactical mind?? You stick a Kroxigor in the middle on the line of scrimmage, a line of Saurus warriors either side of it. Now you’ve got a solid wall of scales that cause my Skaven no end of trouble to get through… 😛

If anyone has a passing interest in these, then I’d recommend you to visit Warploque Miniatures first. Their fantasy football lizardsmen sculpts are both more dynamic, characterful and even retain the lizards aztec feel from the Old World.
They could be witchdoctors for lizardmen army’s if they have them?
