Carved wood could come out pretty nice i think, ill def try that on one of my spare shields

Basically a wood colour of your preference followed by a wash and/or dry brush highlights. Personally Iwent for aged gold, bronze and copper colours, I could go back and add bright paint colours to them later asif the lizards themselves [...]
