I have been working on this list trying to find the right balance.
There is a 2500 point 3 round tourney in Seattle in April. I have two list to pick from one Necron the other Tyranids
There is a good mix of player type so it is not like a big GT. I expect 40 to 60 people if the last tourney is any example.

This list is a all reserve army that presents lots of threats and hard choicies. It hits from the long edge, the side and anywhere between leaving little room to hide. Plus for me it is fun to play. I have 4 guys to kill land raiders maybe 5. everything else will kill transports so armor 10 is not a issue.

Over all the list has a lot to kill with only 3 to 4 round to do so.

Please let me know what you think and idea or how you adjust it.

I have thought about putting a tervagon since the new models are out but I not sure about them in a reserve list. Thoughts on this would be welcomed.

    2498 pts.

    82 models 13 kill points, 105 wounds

The idea of the list is to get in close and then pick apart units with shooting after what comes out of cc. The destroyer lord is set up to go with either the praetorian or wraith guard. That unit will be deep strike in to the back field to go after objective holder and long fangsish units.

Over all it can move fast with ranged support with a nice counter assault units.

Let me know what you think and how to improve it.

Overlord with command Barge: Phase shifter, S. Weave, Warscythe

Destroyer Lord S.Weave, Warscythe, Res orb

    Royal Court:

    5 x Wraiths 2 Whip coils , 2 particle caster
    8 x scarabs 1

    Annihilation Barge Gauss Cannon
    Annihilation Barge Gauss Cannon
    Doomsday Ark

Help on the weekness of both list would be nice .

sorry i can’t help with the nid list but here’s my personal preferences on your necron list.

personally i’d swap the overlord for anrakyr the traveler. he does the same job but can make your opponent shoot himself (this is especially fun against units trying to screen vindicators or guardsmen screening russ’s). for the job he’s doing you don’t really need the invul save or the 2+ armour and that tacyon arrow has come in handy (and completely useless). it’s up to you but that is my personal preference.

also the doomsday will be a big target, i like to have a tomb spyder with fabricator claws to keep it going.

personally i think a ghost ark would also be useful, those warriors are going to be big targets.

    5500 Points – Grey Knights I 3000 Points – Necrons I 2000 Points – Space Wolves (last updated 06/02/2012)

I will not back down, in games or otherwise. You have been warned.
