Yay! I’m so looking forward to this. The plan is to work on the bases for my Betrayel at Calth Space Marines, but I’m not entirely sure how they’re going to look yet.

So yesterday evening I tuned in to @lancorz Twitch painting session and built some Republican Roman Velites that I will try to paint during the Hobby Night live. Looking forward to seeing how far I can get on these in one sitting. :-)

@mage go for it bud, I posted a day in advance of the last one since I missed it myself. So all the posts were either side of the actual hobby night.

Ive been prepping this project so I can try and get it mostly finished during hobbynight this evening..

My local FLGS is holding their first NAF sanctioned BloodBowl tournament, so Im making a special figure that can be given away to all participants.

This is going to be a referee – a Mummy referee. He’ll be booking a player by writing their name down.. so he’ll have a big feathered quill and will be using his unwrapped bandages as notepaper!

So, i started out with a wire armature..

Skinned it with greenstuff, and bulked it out a bit more too..

I realised this was going to be a nightmare to mould, so needed to break it down into component parts. Both arms have come off, and Ive made square pegs so they will slot back into the shoulder holes. And the curving bandage is separate too.

As you can see, Ive started doing bandages on the figure too, but I still need to do a lot of bulking out, sculpting and detailing on this guy which (fingers crossed) will mostly get done tonight :)

AND while Im waiting for putty to cure, I’ll be trying to get more done on these guys..

This is my wip team for our next BloodBolw season here in Liverppol. Im playing Underworld – which is skaven and goblins, but Im also adding a spider-theme running through the whole team.

I’ve converted a few skaven in advance of getting the required mutation skill ups. My goblins are the multi-legged scuttlings from the silver tower set, plus even more extra arms and heads! And the chaos troll is a complete scratch build.

Only just got some base colours down on these fellas so there’s still lots to do :)

I’m planning on painting some 15mm for small scale Saga: Crescent & Cross, it will be a bit hotter and drier than the frozen north that the guys are planning to work on.

@zombieking Not sure if you know but alternative armies are now selling 15mm blank dollies

Very early days in my BoW inspired Viking Tall House build. I have no need of a viking tall house but I saw this picture and had to build it…

I roughed out a simplified version in Sketch Up, sized to a 1 foot square tile…

and got to building… I’m using foamex high density foam card for the shell and a new idea I had for cutting corners (much easier to measure). No plans on an interior, just lots and lots of wood cladding….

I’ll be building tonight and over the weekend – I don’t think this will be a particularly long build so expect frequent updates :)

Check out my blog for more scale shenanigans! http://www.richbuillds.com
