So you have no doubt noticed that things are changing on the site, we hope for the better.

We’re spending our time at the moment specifically on the community aspects of the site to make it easier for you guys to connect and share stories, tips and general banter.

We are also stripping out a lot of redundant functionality which was under utilized so its a fond farewell to WEBBUZZ (pointless piece of code anyway!).

We have reintroduced the community chat but with both updated code and more external infrastructure behind it so as to lighten the load on our servers.

Forums have had quite a drastic change and we would love to get your feed back on that.

We will be stripping out over 100 redundant groups, however you will have noticed that even some popular groups didn’t make it into the new forums design. for example no faction groups for any system.

We found the faction split just watered down the effectiveness of the forums so now we will run with less.

A decision can be made on whether 40K factions should stay, but our hunch is no.

We are also introducing and rebuilding some sections like, TV, Prizes, Events, Downloads, Deals and they will start to take much better shape over the next two to three weeks so please bear with us on that.

Backstage will not be neglected either and a raft of updates and changes are rapidly making their way to those who jumped to support us!

i can’t find some the forum topics i was debating on, are they lost or am I?

If you have lost forums its probably because we’re considering stopping support for them or merging them.

I would like the news round up on the table to return also.. It was a great way to show off how much new kit was coming out.

I used to be able to check all forums to find out if one already exsisted, was also useful for finding those spam fest ones stupid hackers like to create. I dont seem to be able to do a show all forums anymore- just a show all topics

@trebormills We can add an Ancients forum, I think one to cover the main systems would work for the moment – what do you think?

Our objective is to reduce the amount of groups and slot of them will merge into the official groups.

We believe that the conversations have been too fragmented, so hopefully consolidating them will allow for a better experience.

We may keep the group creation in place for gaming clubs/groups to use (but we may have a better option for those guys coming up soon anyway)

I will fire up an ancients forum tomorrow and add it to the historicals list.
