    Hello Folks.
I’ve been working on some Fantasy terrain- the different buildings/arcane architecture mentioned in the book. Right now I’m on a Grail Chapel and I thought I’d post a picture and seek some feedback as to what else the building needs.

Perhaps some shaped butressess emerging perpendicular to the ones on the sides of the building?
The roof I’m thinking perhaps a small conical minater at each corner or one in the middle of the roof, or a grail stuck on somewhere?
I’m no bretonia expert so thought I’d submit to the community :D

EDIT- gonna stick all the bits in this thread just to make things neater :D

    Sigmarite Shrine. Hail Sigmar.

No great man lives in vain. The history of the world is but the biography of great men.

Nobody appreciates Infantry officers- it’s a tankless job.

    Sinister Statue-
I like this piece. Still needs a bit of a wash, and to paint the torch which I’ve only just added. Some older gamers might recognise the figure- I know @warzan will anyhow after his nostalgia on the live show!

Nice work! Love the chapel. The little stain glass details in the window really make this piece stand. The only thing I would add would be some weathering/moss on the building, especially on the roof. For me, the idea of the grail chapel always evokes that out of the way, hidden, ancient chapel that knights stumble upon when they are out questing aimlessly outside the bounds of the civilized world.

    Like this, but less modern

Awesome- So it wouldn’t be too fancy in that case, something functional, simple and tough on the outside. I’ll deffo put some moss/ive grovth outside. Will prob base it to and add some shrub/flower flock.

Yeah, looking at Bretonian fluff, most of their architecture/castles look neglected. You have to imagine a culture where lords have to go outside of the country to get architects/engineers to fix things and even then the castles look pretty sad. Population is dirt poor..barley surviving. I imagine anything bretonian would look simple, neglected, or in a state of decay. Your chapel is almost there…once you get the moss/live growth the project should really come alive.
