Regardless if my recent venture into D&D has taught me anything, if the new addition sucks keep playing the old one.

finally a date…. on sale in store estimated on the 7th.
4th D&D blows goats, but they are working on a new version sign up for the D&D next bata. combats are faster and straight forward, no trying to figure out ‘powers’….

I actuall would get the digital version but id say that wont come out right away.

I think the Digital version and the printed book will come out at the same time as the digital version will be an adaptation of the printed version with additional content.
I’m working for a publisher in the digital department and it is what we do (and we do magazines that come out every month).
This release will have been planified long ago and both project will have been produced along one another.
I have to say that I can’t wait to get my own copy and start looking at the new rule set! Please, guys, stop bashing GW because we all know we’ll go back and buy their stuff because it is great.
We’ll hate some of the new rules and miss some of the old ones. We’ll like some other rules because they bring so much to the game… All in alll, we’ll have fun playin’ it and after a couple of games, we’ll see that the changes have been for the best.
I know, I know, I’m an optimist. If you don’t feel like it, you should get a look at the topic I started when all the rumors started coming out and everybody started to bash the game to the ground:

I’m really excited to see a new edition of the game. Many players are burnt out on playing 40k in my area, a new edition is exactly what we need to get something fresh and new.
