What is the current speculation as far as the order Armies will be released in? My money is on Empire and/or Chaos next although it would be nice to see Lizardmen / Wood Elves / or Bretonnia final get a bit of love.

God will surely Triumph! However I have one doubt left in the matter,

Rumours are pointing to Empire and Chaos. I’m not at all opposed to this. Empire warrior priests need some minor adjustments to bring them in-line with 8th ed magic and their infantry could use a few tweaks.

Chaos needs a bit of a fix. They pay quite a bit for their lords…but at the end of the day they are just slightly too hard to kill when given the right combination of wargear and marks. A smaller war-gear pool and a slight point adjustment to Marauders would be nice (they cost the same as V.C. skeletons). I’d also like to see Dragon Ogres and Trolls be made more attractive.

Lizardmen do well enough in this edition, not too worried about them. Wood Elves and Bretonians will be MIA for a while I’m afraid.

Thing is though, I’m pretty sure Bretonians could be playable in the right hands. I felt that they were slightly overpowered in 7th ed. You moved forward and armies crumbled. The nerf going into 8th was huge and people reacted to that by selling off all their Bretonian stuff…but I think they still work. Not a brainless slog forward anymore, but an army that can still hit hard.

Most substantial rumours on Empire I’d say, so probably them.

Probably the worst painter in the world.
Armies: 40k: 3rd/4th ed Black Templars, 5th ed Necrons. Fantasy: Dark Elves (in progress) LOTRSBT: Isengard, Gondor.

Yeah, we can probably discount any Chaos rumours at this point too…. I think most of them came from a recently “discredited” source.

Indeed probably Empire next from what I’ve been hearing though I do feel Bretonnians need to be done soon as well not just because of their age but the Bretonnian player here is having a lot of trouble now as most of the players including me field high I armies and his knights are just getting the shit kicked out of them in CC before they can do anything by sheer numbers.

Wood Elves I don’t know anyone who actually plays them so I can’t say with them but I can also say lizardmen are fine at the moment as I play them and I’m still doing well and Warriors of Chaos I can see it happening but feel they are still reasonably okay at the moment.

40k Armies- MC Tyranids, Shooty Orks, Jump Pack Blood Angels
Warhammer/Bloodbowl/Mordheim Armies- Skaven no theme, Skink based lizardmen Warmachine- Cryx, Cygnar.

You can’t really go on what is weakest as being the only indication though, being the weakest often means GW might leave them for a bit to make money on one that will sell better as it has people playing it currently, as well as people coming back to it. A better indication is what/how many rumours there are for the army. There are actually some on warriors of chaos which seems odd considering they dont play badly.
