Hasslefree’s Celtic Hero Promotes Diceni For April 2013

Kev White of Hasslefree might be busy working on the world of Gates of Antares but he still finds time to create Fantasy Female Heroes for events. Check out the artwork for his latest Celtic beauty (Boudicca then?) for Diceni, an event in Norfolk during April 2013.
As we know Kev White is pretty good at working with the female form in miniatures so there are no doubts here that she will turn out looking great. The figure will be available in metal at the event alongside copies of the artwork you see above.

Where the design falls down (pun intended) is that the weight is on the wrong foot.
The right foot is outside the line of her head so she would be tending to topple over to her left.
There is no sense that she is using the spear as a support.
