NuCoal and PAK make heavy use of infantry due to the large numbers of GREL infantry left over from Earth’s original invasion of Terra Nova. These genetically modified super soldiers account for roughly ninety thousand soldiers present in both militaries. Infantry is so prevalent in the forces that often Gear and Tank squads will incorporate an armored infantry section into their organization. In addition to GREL, NuCoal forces utilize regular human infantry. Temple Heights has seen a mass migration of the mysterious Sand Riders at the start of the current war against Earth and its vassals. These Sand Riders have allied themselves with the NuCoal city-state in an effort to protect the ancient ruins located at Temple Heights.

Variants: In addition to standard foot infantry, NuCoal and PAK utilize motorized infantry, who utilize a variety of vehicles such as locally manufactured Elan jeeps and hoverbikes. Both forces make heavy use of Armored Infantry mounted in either HPC-64 or Sampson HPCs. Even with such high tech vehicles at their disposal, the militaries still make use of riding beasts in the rough desert terrain. The most common riding beasts used are the massive armadillo beast and its slightly smaller barnaby riding beasts.
