Hero Forge Add Grey Plastic Back Into The Mix

Hero Forge have a great platform that allows you to make your own role-playing heroes using their rather robust system packed with all kinds of extras. Well, now they have added grey plastic as a material back into the mix...
This is still a relatively new medium for them as previously they have been working in clear plastics and weirdly even steel and bronze. This new grey plastic they have at their disposal creates robust and highly detailed miniatures that will look great when painted up.
I highly recommend getting stuck into their program and having a fiddle around with the system. You can then see some more examples of their work over on social media.

I really like heroforge. I needed a female sci-fi archer last year and that’s where I ended up going. But the transparent plastic can be a bit of a pain with the transparent nature of acrylic paints. This grey plastic will be a big improvement

Very interesting. The two in the bottom picture look much higher quality than the three in the top picture. I wonder why that is?

Update: I’ve accidentally designed my old hosuemate with a broken bottle. I’m getting one!
they are looking good.
I’ve ordered from Hero Forge before. I got my character printed in their ultra detail plastic. The detail was very good with minimal print lines. The material was very brittle so you had to be very careful with thin parts like spear and sword tips. The new material looks very promising. At $30 a figure it’s a bit pricey, but I feel worth it for a complete custom miniature.
For a custom sci-fi mini, i will check it out, not too often at that price!
